Welcome to Kairos Faith Sisterhood and Champions Corporation (KFS&C), a non-profit organization founded by Kimberly Perry with a fervent dedication to inspiring and empowering individuals to conquer challenges and realize their full potential. Established in 2022, KFS&C serves residents aged 13–30 in Middlesex, Essex, Union, Somerset, and Warren counties, providing mentorship, support, and resources to those in need.

 

KFS&C's primary goal is to rescue teens from crisis, rekindle their belief in their own potential, reunite them with their families, or equip them to be self-reliant and lead towards success.

 

At KFS&C, we are committed to nurturing a safe haven where young women, young men, children, and individuals with disabilities can reclaim their lives, discover joy, and embrace a brighter future. This sanctuary serves as a refuge for those who lack a peaceful environment. Over the years, there has been a scarcity of recreation centers or engaging activities for these individuals, leading to potential issues such as depression, substance abuse, a lack of guidance, and diminished self-esteem. The model of care at Kairos Faith Sisterhood and Champions revolves around therapeutic support in an environment that mirrors the familial setting the clients will return to. Healthy behaviors are instilled and reinforced in a secure space. These positive habits are carried home and sustained with staff support during the transition. Families embroiled in court cases can also access supportive services to rebuild their fractured homes or address issues stemming from divorce and separation. Children often bear the brunt of such situations more than their parents. We recognize that parents may be overwhelmed with work and lack the time or energy to engage with their children. Consequently, the children may grow up without proper guidance. Do you wish to take charge of our youth, recognizing them as our future, and engage them in a constructive organization that acknowledges the deficiencies in our community and aims to offer support to individuals who have been exposed to crime, abuse, and poverty, subsequently labeled at risk due to the absence of a guiding figure? Moreover, we extend our support to victims of sex trafficking, providing a secure haven and resources for their recovery.

 

Our dedicated team, led by Founder and Executive Kimberly Perry and a group of resilient women who have bravely navigated trauma and triumphed over it, endeavors to make a positive impact in the community. KFS&C extends emergency shelter placements and services to those in crisis, ensuring immediate support and assistance in times of need. This can only be achieved by allowing sufficient time to establish essential routines. The enthusiasm and innate curiosity of young individuals are channeled towards enhancing their self-image. Once they truly recognize their self-worth, it becomes a value they are motivated to protect.

 

Furthermore, KFS&C is actively developing recreation and STEM programs, along with sensory initiatives, to enhance the well-being and growth of our participants, including those at risk and victims of various forms of abuse. Through collaborative efforts with community partners and generous supporters, we strive to make a lasting impact by providing aid, resources, and avenues for personal development.
